Meet Grady Vigneau, 2020 Trail Crew! "I grew up in Stowe and started mountain biking in the early '90s with my dad on what were very different trails at the time. College and jobs took me far away from the trails and terrain that spoiled me; I always had that itch to get back out on the trails. I once drove two hours and paid $25 to ride a 1-mile stretch of very mediocre trail when I was out west working. Anytime I had a day off, I was on my bike, even if it was just riding around city blocks. It was about seven years ago when I moved back to Stowe that I started getting more involved with STP. A few years later, I moved out to Colorado and ended up turning my experience into a full-time trail building job for Devil's Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, CO. After a few years, my fiancée and I decided to move back East to be closer to family, and here we are! I am very excited to be able to work on the trails that started this passion for me and to support this great community. The trails are such an important cornerstone of the community - especially in these trying times - so it is very fulfilling to hear the whoops of joy while we dig. Weather looks like a bit of a wash-out this weeken Weather looks like a bit of a wash-out this weekend, so we've made the call to push the B3 Costume Contest to July 4th & 5th! This adds in all sorts of options to also decorate one's bike in honor of America! So wherever you go with your favorite costume or patriotic decoration, the idea still stands, let's bring a bit of fun to the trails! Stop by the Rt. 108 Cady Lot between 10-2 on the 4th or 5th to be entered!

Meet Niels Musschoot, 2020 Trail Crew! "I first put Stowe on the map in 2016 when I met my wife, a Stowe native, when she was in Belgium racing cyclocross. I had never visited the U.S. before, but I would soon become familiar with the Stowe area and the trail networks throughout. The fact that Kimmer’s and Hardys Haul practically dump out into her parent’s backyard sealed the deal for me. Since then, I’m so grateful to call Stowe my new home. Mountain biking runs deep in my blood. I grew up following my dad’s professional mountain bike career. My dad raced some of the very first World Cup Downhill events, even traveling to the U.S. for races, and in 1990 he was the Belgian mountain bike champion. My passion for trail building started when I was a teenager, living with my dad on Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. My dad and I would carve downhill tracks into the rocky volcanic terrain and connect previously built trails into trail networks. Since then, I’ve been building pump tracks, bike park features, and trails all around Europe. I can't wait to keep expanding and improving the already amazing trails in Stowe. I'm sure I'll see you all out there!" - @nielsmus

STP is announcing our first annual B3 Cady Costume STP is announcing our first annual B3 Cady Costume Contest on June 27th & 28th. Hit the trails during B3 Weekend in costume, then stop by the 108 Cady Lot between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM on either Saturday or Sunday to get entered for the Grand Prize. The first ten entries per day will have their choice of a small door prize. Let's bring the energy and fun of the Critical Mass ride to the trails of Cady Hill Forest for B3 weekend! #stowemtb
