Online tickets may have disappeared, but you still have time to grab your tickets for the 2018 Leaf Blower Fall Mountain Bike Festival!
In case you don’t already know, the Leaf Blower Fall Mountain Bike Festival is Vermont’s best way to cap off an amazing riding season that was filled to the brim with glorious weather and trail makeovers. Join your friends and family on Saturday, October 6th for an all-day mountain bike adventure across Stowe. With group rides for every level, vendors, home grown food, local libations, and live music, this event will be sure to please the pickiest of thrill seekers or relaxed riders.
The main events of the day are the all-abilities group rides that tackle some of the northeast’s best terrain with incredible views along the way. This year we have over 10 group rides; from multi-mile, advanced, rocky and rooty to low milage, mellow and flowy. There are beginner-specific rides, several intermediate to advanced rides, a berms and features ride clinic with local pro, Dylan Conte, rides for kids and teens, super cruisy party rides, and, of course, a few all-day endurance rides for the adrenaline junkies in the bunch. Also, did we mention epic trail snacks stashed along the way?!
AND, in case all of the above did not convince you, the Leaf Blower is also fun for a good cause- it is Stowe Trails Partnership’s largest annual fundraiser! All proceeds from the event support the building and maintenance of Stowe’s trail network. Online tickets are available until October 1 (and STP members receive a $15 discount). But do not fear, day-of registration will still be available, but these tickets are limited- so register now and get excited for the best day of the year!
**Parking during the event: Due to limited parking, Ranch Camp will not be able to park any cars at their location. Please plan on parking at the Springer Miller Parking Lot (overflow parking will be at the Mayo Farm Field) and bike commute to Ranch Camp from the parking area (consider this a nice 8 minute warm-up!). Please review these maps for both driving directions to the parking area and biking directions to Ranch Camp.
