Back by popular demand, Stowe Trails Partnership presents Family Bike Night at Sushi Yoshi! We are very excited to be going into our third season of getting kids on bikes and giving them the opportunity to grow and progress to enjoy this great sport.
Family Bike Night takes place at Sushi Yoshi, on their back lawn where children and families of all ages can access the Rec Path and bike features. And for the older kids, easy riding over to Cady Hill and beyond.
Rides will occur Wednesday nights leaving at 6 o’clock throughout the summer. Please show up no later than 5:45 for registration so that rides may start on time with a return time of 7:30pm. Refer to the schedule below for specific dates and rider group descriptions. It all kicks off June 5th and happens weekly through August 21st with an additional Field Trip.
Schedule & Dates
Family Bike Night is an event for families with younger kids who have a wide-range of abilities. We realize this means anything from balance bikes to kids already riding trails. Riders will be organized into groups based on age and skills. Our goal is to get the kiddos to have fun and overall become better riders. Trail leaders are volunteers who want to work with the kids and help them learn skills (if you want to volunteer please see below). The single most important part is to HAVE FUN! For kids who are a little bit older or more experienced and who are just starting to ride trails, the Cady Hill Forest trails are a perfect place to start building confidence.
Parents: these rides can’t happen without you! Please consider volunteering to help make Family Bike Night a success in Stowe.
