The Stowe Trails Partnership, in collaboration with Mountain Bike Vermont, is stoked to present Vermont’s favorite mountain bike tradition: the Leaf Blower Fall Classic Mountain Bike Festival. This year’s Leaf Blower is going down on Saturday, October 12* and will be based out of Ranch Camp on Mountain Road. With group rides for all abilities and levels, awesome vendors, homegrown food, local libations, and live music, there is simply no better way to cap off the season than with this one-day celebration of bikes and community.
As always, the marquee event will be the all-abilities group rides that tackle some of the northeast’s best terrain and afford some of Vermont’s best views—whether you’re a seasoned rider or looking to get into mountain biking, we have a ride for you (Ride Matrix and Category Descriptions will be coming soon). Everything from family-friendly kid-specific rides, to all-day endurance rides, skill clinics, party rides, and all-about-fun social rides, the Leaf Blower has something for everyone! And the on-trail snack stops (packed with goodies from a host of local supporters) have achieved near-legendary status so no worries on bonking. Check out the full list of Rides in 2019!
And after you’ve gotten your share of single track, adjourn back to home base for a catered cookout, a few local brews, music from local legends, and the requisite telling of tall tales around the campfire. Your registration covers the rides, snacks, cookout, a beverage, a bag o’ goodies, and a pair of Darn Tough bike socks!
Register early because we expect the event to sell out quickly! And feel even better about biking all-day at the Leaf Blower, because this is Stowe Trails Partnership’s largest fundraiser of the year and all proceeds from this event go straight back to building and maintaining Stowe’s trails. For more info on the event and to register, head over to our registration page.
Early Bird pricing starts Monday, August 26th through September 22nd (and STP members get $15 off — check your email for the coupon code or join today!). General Admission will end on Sunday, October 6th. But do not fear, day-of registration will still be available, however, these tickets are limited- so first come, first serve!
For updates and event info stay tuned to the STP Facebook page and the Registration Page. See you on Saturday, October 12th! So register early, rest your legs, and get ready for the best day of the year in support of our trails!
