The countdown is on — B3 is only a few days away! Now in its fourth year, B3 Festival is a town wide celebration of bikes, brews and beats (get it, B3?) 😉
The weekend kicks off on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. in downtown Stowe with the Block Party, hosted by Stowe Vibrancy. There will be tastings and samples from the area’s finest brewers and artisan food makers, as well as live music and ample bike parking. Don’t forget to bring a canned food good to donate to the Lamoille Community Food Share program!
The Critical Mass Ride, departing from downtown immediately following the Block Party, keeps the party rolling (literally). What’s the Critical Mass Ride you ask? It’s a costume party on wheels! The Critical Mass Ride is slow-speed, family friendly bike procession up Mountain Road in Stowe. This year, the best costume will win a season pass to Highland Mountain Bike Park courtesy of our friends at MTBVT.com
When the Critical Mass Ride ends, the next party begins — Piecasso’s B3 Critical Mass Party will feature live music, a Giants Bicycles raffle, a beer garden and MTB flicks on the big screen.
Saturday is packed with group rides for all ages and ability levels. Check out the B# Website for the full schedule.
When you’ve gotten your fill of singletrack, check out the apres parties going down at Sushi Yoshi and Stowe Cider. Don’t forget to check out the not-to-be-missed Trike Race at Sushi Yoshi!
Sunday’s got a little something for everyone with a group run (great recovery run for all you Catamount Ultra runners), as well as a fully caffeinated MTB ride departing from Commodities at 10.
There’s also more tasting and music throughout the day! Keep an eye on the StoweB3Fest.com and the B3 Festival Facebook page for a full schedule of events. See you Friday!
