10/31 Storm Damage Update

Sadly, no trick or treat on this post. Stowe trails are CLOSED until we can get them cleaned up from Sunday night’s windstorm.

We can’t emphasize enough that the woods are DANGEROUS right now. Large trees are leaning on other large trees, when one moves the other moves.

    Is there anything organized for the cleanup? I’ve got 2 chainsaws, a gas polesaw, and a compact utility tractor all ready to go!

    Hi!

    Thanks so much for offering to help – unfortunately the damage is so severe that it is too dangerous for volunteer work. We’re working to get the pros in there to handle the big stuff. Rest up as we will have a lot of volunteer days coming in spring to get things back in riding shape!
